CONFERENCES

SMART Enterprise 2002

Welcome to the second annual SMART Enterprise conference.

It seems like this could be the worst of times.

Customers are delaying or canceling purchases. Deal sizes have come down dramatically. How can we grow in a down market?

In addition the big are getting bigger and stronger. How can we leverage these channels better and how can we grow our distribution capacity?

Maybe we can get some of these answers from the "customer" himself.

Downturns force us to face these questions head on. Hopefully we can learn to listen to customers better. We can come up with new and creative ideas for growth and leveraging channels. Motivate employees through difficult times. And ultimately, innovate to deliver creative solutions that solve real problems.

With all this in mind, we have put together an excellent agenda and set of speakers. We also have a terrific group of attendees and we have provided ample time and an idyllic environment for informal discussion, debate and networking.

We want to thank our advisors Kathleen Hogan, Pat Quirk, Chris Roon, Peter Sobiloff and Bob Wright for their valuable input and guidance in making this event a successful one.

We also extend our thanks to our sponsors Salesforce.com and the Horn Group who helped make this event possible.

We sincerely hope we can help pave the way for better times to come.

Once again, welcome to the SMART Enterprise conference!
