Software 2006: Celebrate! Software 2006 Gala Dinner
Join executives from all over the world for the first ever major social gathering for the entire software ecosystem. This exciting social event will recognize charitable organizations and luminaries who have made an impact on the world.
Celebrate! Software 2006 will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. Entertainment will be provided by the world famous Greg Angelo and his Velocity Circus Troupe.
Sand Hill Group created the SHG Foundation to enable the surplus from its annual Enterprise Conference to be donated to charity. The SHG Foundation makes grants to non-profit organizations that help improve the lives of low-income women and children worldwide.

This year our giving process has been formalized by instituting the annual Sand Hill awards for Good Samaritans, Social Entrepreneurs and Luminaries.
Good Samaritan awards will be given to three organizations that have substantially aided emergency or disaster victims and helped other non-profit organizations.
Social Entrepreneurship awards will be given to four organizations whose chief executive officers have left lucrative jobs in technology and other professions and started a non-profit because of their passionate belief in a cause.
The Luminary Award will be given to an individual who has dramatically improved people's lives.
